History & mission statement

Besides hospital laboratories, there were only a few private medical laboratories in Switzerland at the end of the 1960s. The rapid technological advances being made in new testing methods in the 1980s hailed the emergence of the new medical discipline of "laboratory medicine", which gave rise to a number of new public and private laboratories.

Private laboratories complement analyses carried out in the practice labs of established physicians, and provide analytical, medical and logistical support to the practice team. Services are completely oriented to the individual needs of the medical practices.

With this goal in mind, over 20 specialists from all the areas of health care analytics got together at the end of 2000, and founded labor team w ag. labor team w ag is entirely independent, and carries out all its analyses at one location. This leads to high quality, great flexibility and rapid order processing, allowing us to take care of all our partners' needs.
