The test can be used for antibody determination after infection or vaccination with S1/RBD-based vaccines. It is standardised against the "First WHO International Standard for anti-SARS-CoV-2 immunoglobulin" (NIBSC code: 20/136).
The minimum level of BAU/ml required for vaccine protection is currently not defined. Similarly, the optimal timing of the vaccination check is not yet defined; experience suggests that the check may be done 3-4 weeks after the second vaccination.
