Clinical Information

From 16.11.2021, a certificate will be issued in case of a positive result (>8.4 BAU/ml), which will be valid for 90 days in Switzerland (if the blood sample is taken after 15.11.2021).

The test complies with WHO standards and has CE certification.

The test can be used for antibody determination after infection or vaccination with S1/RBD-based vaccines. It is standardised against the "First WHO International Standard for anti-SARS-CoV-2 immunoglobulin" (NIBSC code: 20/136).
The minimum level of BAU/ml required for vaccine protection is currently not defined. Similarly, the optimal timing of the vaccination check is not yet defined; experience suggests that the check may be done 3-4 weeks after the second vaccination.
