The Fatty Liver Index (FLI) is a screening method to calculate the likelihood of fatty liver (NAFLD). It consists of an algorithm of measuring triglycerides and gamma-GT in the blood, BMI and abdominal circumference. The FLI can vary between 0 and 100. An FLI <30 excludes a fatty liver with high probability, an FLI >60 a fatty liver.
